The Dead Sea… You might be wondering why the sea is called dead… well, literally, it is dead… Why?

Dead Sea is a salt lake located on the Jordan Rift Valley, and is known to be the deepest hypersaline lake, one of the world’s saltiest bodies of water. With 33.7% salinity, it is 8.6 times saltier than the ocean^. This salinity makes for a harsh environment where no sea creature and aquatic plant can flourish… Moreover, Dead Sea’s shores are known to be the lowest point on the surface of the earth on dry land. Therefore, all the bodies of water around the area pour their water on the lake and the lake pour its water to nowhere… it just evaporates. So, the lake is empty, it gives nothing, it is lifeless… it is DEAD.

Here goes the same with the principle of how wonderful it is to give… giving IS BETTER that receiving. take the ocean for example, it receives less, just water from the pouring rain , but it gives much… it gives life to the sea creatures and plants… that’s why it is teeming with life… it makes it beautiful, it makes it alive!

It works in any aspect of our lives… in relationships, in financial life, in spiritual life, and many others. the more you give love, the more you receive love… the more we give love, the more we receive love, the more we give to the clients, the more profit we can get, the more we give ourselves into something we want to achieve, the more we will succeed, and the more we give ourselves to Jesus, the more we can get closer to Him, the more we can have eternal life.

Now here’s the question… are we giving?

Do we give ourselves to our family, to our friends, to God?

if not, maybe there’s something dead in us… something lifeless within us…

Let’s not be like the Dead Sea…

let’s learn to give…

a simple smile for example… see how this can leave an expression to other people… see how this very simple gesture can be a friend magnet.

in giving without asking in return, blessings beyond measure will come our way…
