How magnificent it is to feel Him around me!

My prayer last night has been answered right away! I prayed to the Lord to consume all of me, to be with me in this battle that i stumbled upon for i believe that with Him, victory awaits at the end… i believe that with Him, any heavy burden will be light. Right after my prayer, as i lay down on my bed, i received a text message saying…

God will be…

(ABOVE) you to bless you…

(BELOW) you to support you…

(BEFORE) you to guide you…

(BEHIND) you to protect you….

(BESIDE) you to comfort you, and…

(INSIDE) you to sustain you.

I was really surprised with the message! It put a very wide smile on my face that it nearly reached my ears. I took that message as an assurance from the Lord. (well, with or without that quote, i still believe that He is with me, that He will never abandon me). I slept last night smiling and teary eyed.

But today has a lot more! One of my daily habits is to watch preacher and blue jeans (try to visit www.preacherinbluejeans.com), and it was a surprise again that the message for today’s episode is exactly what i need! It tackles how the Lord has given us a promise that we can hold on to… That in the midst of difficulties, we should not be troubled, for there is always a wonderful blessing that awaits us.

Moreover, early this morning, when i read the Daily Bible Reflections sent to me by the Kerygma Family via e-mail, my heart leaped to joy once more. Today’s Gospel says:

Jesus said to the crowds: “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for your selves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.”

Matthew 11: 28-30

(Honestly, this is one of my favorite scriptures in the Bible. And i think it is where the chorus of the song “Lift up your hands” was extracted.)

How great is our God! How sweet it is to be loved by Him!

God is not only a God of mercy and love, He actually reaches into our lives to relieve us of the burdens and of sins so that we will be freer to live for Him.

I NEED NOT TO WORRY! In His hands, i am safe. With Him, everything’s gonna be alright.

Lord, unto You, i put all my trust.
